Rust stats, tracked per wipe and per server.

Sign in with Steam and we record what moved on every server we track, so you can see what a wipe actually looked like instead of where it left you.

Communities

We aggregate public leaderboard data from these communities. Ruststats is independent, and is not run by or affiliated with any of them.

How tracking works

  1. Step 1

    Sign in with Steam

One click, no server to pick. There isn't one to pick: you play on several during a wipe, and all of them count.

  2. Step 2

    We poll every 15 minutes

Your playtime tells us where you played. We check every server we track and attribute the change to the right one.

  3. Step 3

    You get deltas

+24,500 stone in the last 15 minutes, per server, wipe by wipe. Plus the AFK meter that shows when only playtime moved.

From joining a server to showing up here takes up to ~17 minutes. This is not live. We aggregate public community data, and we don’t run any of the servers.

FAQ

Is this an official Rust site?

No. Ruststats is an unofficial fan project, not affiliated with Facepunch Studios, with Rust, or with any of the servers listed here. We read public community leaderboards with permission, and nobody who runs a server has endorsed this site.

Which server do I pick?

There is none to pick. Most people play on several servers during a wipe, and all of them count. We sweep every server we track for your SteamID and split the numbers per server, so there is no home server to set and no start button to press.

How fresh are the numbers?

We poll every 15 minutes. A source recomputes its own leaderboard on its own clock, so from joining a server to showing up here takes up to about 17 minutes. This is not live, and we would rather say so than design around it.

Do I have to install anything?

No. There is no plugin, no overlay and nothing that touches the game. We never see server logs, chat or anything from inside a match. If it is not on a public leaderboard, we do not have it.

What does signing in give you?

Your SteamID64, and nothing else. Steam's OpenID hands over no password, no token, no email and no permissions. A name and avatar, where we show them, come from a separate lookup of your public Steam profile. Everything we store after that can be deleted from your settings.

Can people tell when I am online?

By default yes, and you can switch it off. A player page shows when your counters last moved, which servers they are moving on and a 24 hour AFK timeline. None of that comes from the source: we build it from our own polling, which is why it is ours to stop publishing. Sign in, open settings and set your online activity to teams only. Those panels then show to you and to the people you share a team with, and to nobody else. Totals stay public either way, because the source counts them with or without us.

Can I track someone else?

No, and that is deliberate. History only exists for accounts that signed in and asked for it. Anyone's profile still loads with the source's current numbers, but the charts over time, the delta feed and the AFK meter need that person's own sign-in.
